vMail.Admin
vMail.Admin is a web tool for administering Postfix mail servers.
vMail.Admin is G&J Technology's open source PHP project. The project manifest is to utilize GNU/GPL licensed email services software, to utilize a common SQL database between these services, to eliminate hash-based databases for mailbox/domain lookups and to provide a graphical user interface (GUI) to email server administrators and email users alike. No other Postfix frontend exists that is as specific and advanced in tasks as vMail.Admin.
While still in alpha mode, the current releases have proven to be quite stable. You are free to download vMail.Admin from the SourceForge download page. At this time, vMail.Admin is currently in an overhaul re-development to bring you an AJAX interface. Due to time constraints, project development is very slow. In addition to re-development, www.vmailadmin.org has been moved to a server in Switerland to provide reliable access to the online repository of information related to the project. A very special thanks goes to them for hosting our project.
Installation and implementation of vMail.Admin is available for a nominal fee or you can simply download the application and install it yourself. Please contact us for more information on how to administer your email with vMail.Admin.

Development
vMail.Admin is both open source and free software. This means (in a very small nutshell) that there is no charge to obtain the software and you have the liberty to modify the software as you see fit. Development on this project is slow because it is a hobby project. In short, as long as we need vMail.Admin, development will always continue; slowly, but surely, as goes with any open source project with very few developers who donate their free time to free projects. However, you can speed up the progress by financially sponsoring the project while supporting the open source movement or by becoming an active developer.
